Authorities have confirmed the tragic murder of 62-year-old Stephanie Brinson, who was killed by her husband, 54-year-old David Brinson, during a conjugal visit at Mule Creek State Prison in Ione, California.
David Brinson has been incarcerated since 1994, serving four consecutive life sentences for the murders of four men during a robbery gone wrong in a Los Angeles apartment.
The incident occurred in the early hours of November 13, 2024. At approximately 2:00 a.m., Brinson contacted law enforcement, claiming that Stephanie had passed out. Despite efforts by officers to resuscitate her, she was pronounced dead at 2:51 a.m.
This week, authorities confirmed that Stephanie Brinson was strangled to death and ruled her death a homicide. As of now, David Brinson has not been formally charged in connection with her murder.
